Journal or Diary Might Be Too Much, So Start with a Mini Essay a Day!

My mini essay of today:
25/5/15
Please Don’t Hate the Rain!
I know that people would suddenly feel low whenever their current or upcoming agenda is interrupted by the rain, as if a huge amount of water falling from the sky could soak people wet (quite literally), hence would interrupt one from activity of the day. But I don’t think that one should express anger nor express annoyance directly to the rain.
Sell the kids for food, Weather changes mood. (Kurt Cobain in “In Bloom”)
Weather is quite well known to affect the current mood of people that are currently experiencing it. But I don’t think that one should be always be affected by such external occurences like rain. Don’t let rain, hot weather, or cloudy one affect your current feeling. Let your feeling unchange and be in good spirit as you can, the day’s ending is decided by you, and you, and you too! (Pointing and yelling at you three times)
But if storm or dangerous weather ever come, please stay somewhere safe.
(end of the mini essay)
Journaling or writing a consistent diary might be hard for some people to start. So at least you can do a mini essay! It could be anything. If today you want to write a fable or fiction, just write it. If today you want to write your annoyance towards a certain thing, just write it. If this gesture you can keep it consistent for everyday, it will affect and grow your whole being as a person! Because it takes mental effort to do it, and by doing it everyday, at least you use your brain for this whenever you write one!
So this ‘mini essay’ is more flexible than conventional journaling. If you want to write today’s activity, but you don’t want to write it literally, you can convert it to a story, poem, drawing, or mathematical equation! That’s a mini essay is all about (to me), You keep a day’s log of yourself in a very way of you.
At least if you want to write one, don’t write it too short like in one word or a tweet. But don’t force yourself too, write as much as you can (but again, don’t too short). You probably will cringed by your past writings, but as a person, you should really embrace it, as those are part of you as a person. I think that I’m the most cringed man ever known to mankind, but I don’t mind that, I’ll keep on writing and extract my mind.
